So I’ve been trying this thing where I to try to get motivated to start working out. Yea…… it’s not working out too well. I printed out some workout regimes I found on Pinterest and put them on my doorway so I always get reminded, so maybe that will help. But gosh why is working out so much work?! I know they call it ‘working out’ but then theres the darn eating, my stomach just loves sweet things so much she can’t eve get enough. Alas my want for a healthier body is starting to lead over my want for sweet things. So hopefully I’ll get things rolling, no wait I WILL get things rolling!
Advanced stamping, whose tried it, whose liked or disliked it? Well let me tell you it being my first time doing the technique I’ve already started to have that love/hate relationship. It might be due to it being my first time and needing some practice or the fact that I didn’t use a fine brush to do the details but either way I’m kinda loving the outcome it gives you. I love techniques that are easier to do then they seem cuz this lady is no good with fine details. I’m excited to try out more advanced stamping designs now that I’ve crossed that road.
I of course matched my advanced stamping accent with a water marble accent. It’s no surprise that Azature polishes, which if you haven’t been informed of yet all have REAL black diamonds in them, water marble. The applications of these two creams, Cyprus and Peach Diamond from the Spring 2015 collection were nothing but impeccable.
You can find both of these colors along with many other black diamond infused lacquers on Azature online SHOP.

Im not sure what it is about getting back into the groove of things but for some reason I’m having a real hard time with getting motivated to do pretty much anything. Dam this horrible depression and rut that I am experiencing! It’s my own darn fault and I just need to put my big girl panties on and deal with it!
I still have a bunch of designs that I did over two months ago that I still need to share with you all and its not like they are bad or anything I’ve just kept brushing it off, always getting defeated. But not today, NO! Today I will be sharing this loverly manicure using, as you may know, one of my favorite brands, LVX. Not only are their lacquers vegan and cruelty free they are inspired by fashion and always have perfect formulas, not to mention they marble wonderfully.
The colors I used for this design are from LVX’s Spring 2015 collection (I know I’m far behind) and like always are beautifully crafted together. Each one of these colors has a similar shimmery finish to them. Noir is a blackish grey shimmer to it while Haze is a lovely lilac hue. But both of these colors have a tinge of grey to them. I used Fuchsia along with these two other muted colors to help it really pop. I’m loving this unconventional color combo.
And with all the kittens in my life right meow I tend to take photos with them and my nails, so yeaaaaaaa. HA! This little guy was from the last litter, he was the sweetest deaf kitty, always curling up next to me. His bright white color was a nice background for this design.
See the tutorial for this design below!

Yea so if you haven’t heard of Azature’s Diamond polishes then you probably want to change that and keep on reading ahead on these insanely unique shades.
I’d been following Azature for quite some time but had never gotten the chance to try them out. When I received a request a couple months back from them to try out their products I almost had a legit heart attack. I mean not only do they create beautifully crafted polishes but they infuse them with real black diamonds, thats right DIAMONDS people! How they manage this is beyond be. All I can imagine is that they have a bunch of fairies working round the clock using their magical fairy powers to squish diamonds into each luxurious lacquer cuz fairies are awesome tike that.
The manicure I have for you today includes two Azature polishes Passion Diamond (fuchsia) and Harlot Diamond (muted purple) along with Lacquer Lust’s ‘Pinning Over You’ all of which happen to be on sale at the time! And as you can see they water marble, which is our only concern right?! NO! After doing this manicure with all three polishes I totally need to just wear Passion on its own for it is quite the lovely shimmery hot pink fuchsia color and applies like buttah! Harlot and Pinning Over you, which has a matte finish, also apply perfectly and both have that subtle shimmer to them, hmmmm yayyyy shimmery goodness!
Now you may head to Azatures site and notice that their polishes can be a little pricey at $25 a piece, but don’t fret my friends! You have to remember not only are you getting amazing quality when you purchase from Azature but you are getting to have DIAMONDS on your pretty phalanges! Granted they have some select shades that have been discounted and they always have incredible sales where they offer over 75% off! I suggest following their social media platforms so you can be on the lookout for any special offers they may have. I mean come on people these are used at most fashion weeks and have a very prestigious aspect to them and just look at their bottles, they are shaped like DIAMONDS!
With all that being said I have a couple more designs using some Azature polishes which you won’t want to miss!

Yesterday I had a bit of a episode and got super depressed for a few hours. I call it my young-life crisis moments. Being 23 and not knowing exactly where you heading in life, well being any age and not knowing can bring about some real serious stress. So of course I had to have a nice long convo with my mama and all was well after that. Sometimes venting is the best cure for stress. This past weekend I found out that my foot wasn’t broken, got my hair recolored and was featured in Nail It! Magazine twice! I kinda feel like Norma from OITNB blessed me with her healing powers (sorry for all those that don’t watch this show) and now things are falling into place. I have to keep telling myself all is as it should be, all is as it should be.
Well enough personal stuff lets get into something that has also been way overdue and that is LVX’s Spring 2015 collection. You may have seen me post about them before as they are one of my favorite brands from the vast array of beautiful colors to the constantly impressive formulas, they never cease to amaze me, and they are 5-free! Thats why ‘Camo’ swatched below gets it very own post, it’s that extraordinary. The blueish green shimmer in this beauty really makes it a unique shade. The brushes LVX has result in some of the fullest coverage I’ve experienced, Camo took two easy coats for full opacity.
I could have done much more with this shade but I decided to keep it simple with this MoYou London stamping design from Fashionista Plate (04) using Cult Nails ‘Time Traveler’. Lets all just have a moment of silence for the retirement of Cult Nails. Anywho I’m seeing some advanced stamping with this plate in my near future for sure I love the dimensions it holds.
I liked this picture too much not to share it with you all. Ring is from So Nailicious Boutique and its pretty much badass with this pose. Enjoy!

Im just gona go ahead and straight confess to you guys…… OMG Nail Strips sent me these wraps in December. Thats right December which is over six months ago. *Sign* can we just all agree I’ve been a horrible horrible blogger for awhile now. Man I’m surprised if anyone is reading this for how bad I’ve been, well actually I’m still kind of a cool person so I wouldn’t be that surprised *wink wink* So now that we have gotten that out of the way lets talk about how pretty these wraps are and how they applied for yours truly.
Now I’m no novice when it comes to applying nail wraps as I’ve only done it around 3-4 times including these ones. The thing I liked most about these wraps, besides how pretty they are, was that each one has a size measurement on it so you can really match up your nail bed with the correct size wrap as seen below.
I’m not sure why it took me so darn long to get these wraps on my talons as they are quite lovely looking. As you may already know I’m horrible when it comes to detailed art so when I had these on I felt all pro and what not.
The application itself wasn’t too tricky for me but I felt like the sides started coming up on some of my nails quicker then other wraps. Not sure if it was because I had had them for awhile or what but they lasted me a good two days regardless.
I’m currently in North Carolina visiting with my grandparents for a little longer and these rainbow floral wraps make me miss Hawaii so much! The only way I could achieve I look like this if I didn’t have these wraps would be hours of reverse stamping with lots of stamping heads! Ahh that would be cray cray!

I’m back from my family trip to Costa Rica and I couldn’t feel better! What a beautiful country and place to spend two wholes weeks in! It was a great bonding and learning experience for me! I have soooo many great photos of wildlife and I’ve been thinking hmm maybe I’ll do some nail art to match. Yea, how about a string of Costa Rican wildlife themed nail art woohoo for good ideas!
Speaking of good ideas here’s one I had before I even left for my trip. It’s funny because I did this design in the beginning of June but I somehow didn’t get it edited and out until nowwww, the first week of July so yea ya know I hope it still helps some people and you enjoy it! Using a wonderful semi-new product from April of Pipe Dream Polish I was able to achieve these crisp clean lines of red, white and blue. Clearwater is a clear coat of polish, not a base or a topcoat, just a clear polish with the intention of water marbling with. Hence the middle finger with the sparkliness which is Pipe Dream Polishes ‘Cha-Ching’ overtop of Aenglands ‘Excalibur Renaissance’ as this thick glitter was easier to apply and take off with this silver base.
I of course tested out which colors to use before putting them on my nail and OPI’s ‘Eurso… Euro’ and ‘Red Hot Rio’ took the cake. My white base is the ever faithful ‘Carpe Diem’ from Cirque colors, I’m already on my second bottle.
And yay for nice clean photos (although this photo is blurry but hey its artistic) as I’ve been using my moms really nice camera which is super fancy canon DSLR . Sadly I know how to use it better then her and now all she wants is a simple point and shoot haaaa oh mom. Well thats good for me I have a new camera!!! Muahahah!
Make sure to check out my latest video on this design! I haven’t posted one since March so yay for me finally getting some work out to you all!
