Serum No. 5 Neon GITD Review w/ Pueen Stamping

Provided For Review

Ah its feeling so great to have my mojo back! Today I have a bright and fun post to share with you consisting of three Serum No. 5 Glow in the dark Neons paired along with some fun Pueen Stamping using their new Encore plates which I love! With these neons I decided to use a white base to help them pop out a little more resulting in only needing one coat. They did also show full opacity in 2-3 coats.

I Gleam in Pink is an eye searing pink neon cream that glows and orangey-pink in the dark. This one had the least glow effect of the three I tried but under the black light it looked banging. This also had a textured finish due to the glow pigment but with topcoat it smoothed out nicely.

Serum No. 5 I Gleam In Pink GITD

Black and white were really the only colors that stood out nicely as a stamp on this bright color so I went with some black hearts using Cult Nails Nevermore and Pueen SE02A.

Serum No. 5 I Gleam In Pink

Solar Power is a yellow neon cream that glows lime green in the dark. The glow effect was very bright and was probably my favorite for this reason. Using this color over white helped with the application as yellows can be streaky at times.

I used Rescue Beautys ‘Become One’ and Pueen SE03B for a sort of lemon lime type of feel. This is the manicure I ended with and am still wearing right now!

Serum No. 5 Solar Power

Orange You Sunny is another eye-searing color with a nice orangey glow to it in the dark. It glows a little brighter then what I was able to capture. Pair this with the other two colors and you’d have a perfect summer mani!

Serum No. 5 Orange you Sunny GITD

I wasn’t feeling most of the colors I tried to use over this shade so I settled with Cult Nails ‘Love at First Sight’ and some nice flowers from Pueen SE02A. I really loved the look of this under the black light!

Serum No. 5 Orange you Sunny

All in all I was impressed with these colors and their glow effect. Serum No. 5 does it once again with their GITD polishes! I love my growing collection of creams from them!

Cult Nails Spring Radiance Collection Review

Provided for Review

In the past weeks I have been approached by many quality brands to share with you all some of their amazing products. To start this slew of reviews I am very excited to bring you Cult Nails Spring Radiance Trio. I have lusted over Cult Nails polishes ever since my hobby of polish collecting began so you can imagine how I felt when Maria, Cult Nails creator, got in touch with me! Their formulas, colors and combinations are some of my favorite and this trio does not fall short of these qualities.

Thrive is a pastel mint green with beautiful teal shimmers throughout its crelly base. There was a little VNL with only two coats so I went with three for full opacity and had no problem. This has a little bit of a texture to it without topcoat but for my photos I’ve decided to show it with a sleek finish. I ended up wearing this shade for almost two whole weeks it was so complementing to my skin tone. Its like a mermaidy minty wonder.

Heres a little closer look at the speckles of shimmer, not the best photo but you get the idea.

Alluring is a pale neutral pink cream with the faintest green shimmers, which I was unable to capture (sad face). I used two smooth and even coats for full opacity on this unique mauve color. At first looking at this color in the bottle I didn’t think it would look nice on me but due to its uniqueness in color and the green shimmer I can contest otherwise. Such a lovely distinct hue.

Radiance is a berry purple cream that showed full opacity in just one coat! Talk about some high pigmentation on this sucker. Another unique and beautiful color with an amazing formula.

Along with this collection Maria sent me a set of Sweet Baby Donna cuticle oil samples to try out which just so happen to be available on her Etsy site HERE. Out of all the ones I got to try my favorites were the sweet and surgery ones including Creamsicle, Pink Sugar and Blue Sugar. So sweet smelling I wanted to eat my fingers, thats not weird right???

This unlikely combination of mint, mauve and purple in the Spring Radiance collection just goes to show how ingenuous Maria of Cult Nails can be. Thrive, Alluring and Radiance all stand out on their own but together make a bigger statement.

Check out Cult Nails on their online shop HERE and make sure to check them out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for new releases, sales and much more!

BTW Cult Nails just so happens to be offering a nice little sale at the moment. Buy 3 polishes and get the 4th free with the code FOURTHFREE

Yay for being back in the blogging game! I couldn’t be happier that this is my first post back!

Mucking Long Blog Break is Over!

Oh Hello Hello Hello you beautiful people! For almost three months I neglected posting anything on here and that made be feel terrible. Granted I was traveling for one of those months but this weird ‘Nail Funk’ hit me hard and I was barely even doing my nails.

Well now I’ve finally over came this weird funk and have begun reorganizing my polishes as they are overflowing from their shelves at the moment. I’ve had a helmer in my possession since the end of april but am now just starting to fill it up.  I can see a stash post in our near future as I’m thinking I have over 800 polishes in my possession now.

Mucking Fusser had been in need of a major face-lift for quite some time so this past weekend I took some time and sat with my Tech-friendly friend. We gave my blog a whole new look which is just the start to a fun, highly sophisticated and easily accessible page. Alright enough with the formalities lets get back to blogging!
